MODERNE DESIGN HOUSE LIMITED has re-organized its business due to expansion. It will keep on its interior design and build service, and plan to create a showroom for more thorough and comprehensive interior design service. On the other hand, OWINDO Limited has been started and taken over lighting design business. OWINDO is now located at a new showroom + office. Welcome to our showroom and meet with us by appointment.

International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2008 (ICFF) has been accomplished very successfully, and OWINDO, exhibited as a part of the European Designer Group – British European Designer Group (BEDG), enjoyed the fair very much and got a wonderful experience. Many artists, architects and designers came and shared with us. Thanks everyone.

OWINDO will have its interior lighting design showcasing for the first time at The 20th Annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York during May 17-20, 2008. This time OWINDO will be exhibiting as part of British European Design Group (BEDG). We sincerely thank Ms Karin Philips and Ms Pamela Hall for their invitation and guidance.

The 20th annual ICFF will convert New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre into a worldwide wonder for design disciples.

Light + Building 2008 was brought to a successful close on 11 April 2008. OWINDO has got a valuable and wonderful experience from the exhibition and would like to thank all the clients and visitors for their kind support.

Business of Design Week 2007, organized by Hong Kong Design Centre, ended successfully in December 2007. It was our honour that OWINDO has participated into this great event. We gained a lot of inspiration and had an excellent chance gathering with designers all over the world, especially famous designers and architects from ITALY. We would like to share our fantastic moments here.

The 4th Perspective Awards winners and short listed projects have been announced. It is our honour that OWINDO’s products MODERNE MR. & MRS. are one of the short listed projects under BEST PRODUCT category.

Moderne Mr. & Mrs. are wall and ceiling lightings (multi-function) which come from the idea of WIND and our company logo. Using chrome or gold plating, creates not only an elegant outlook, but also provides an essential element for reflection. With sophisticated calculation and measurement, around 70% of lighting is reflected by the deco arms to create shiny effect, around 30% of the beams generates specific pattern on the wall. When you stand in front of the lighting, you cannot see the beams directly from the light bulb, but can only see the reflection of the lighting beams from the deco arms with different angles.

Perspective Awards aims to promote and showcase product, architectural and interior design in this vibrant region; to bring together the various industries in a single forum to celebrate outstanding talent in Asia.

Thanks for your support to our exhibiting at Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2007. The exhibiting was extremely successful and we have gained wonderful feedback from clients and designers all over the world, and our pendant lamp “DIAMOND PRINCESS” showcased in Lighting Display has caught a lot of attention. Another product – MUMS, has been shot by the reporter of Fair Daily, the official press of the Fair, and posted on the cover of Fair Daily dated 29Oct07.

Nevertheless, we gained many feedbacks of companies from worldwide. In addition, press from Italy (ddn), UK, Phillipines (Global Sources) and HK (Sing Tao Daily – HOME FANTASY) come to our booth and had an interview with our Chief Designer, Max Lam, which would be publicized to their markets very soon.
